Downloadable Sewing Patterns

All of the patterns on this page are available for download. They were saved in PDF format that can be opened with Adobe Reader (comes standard on most computers- or you can download it for free at adobe.com). After you complete the payment- Paypal will re-direct you to the page to download the pattern. Please select the links for the patterns, download and save a copy to your computer. The download link is available for approximately 10 days from purchase. We also send out a confirmation email within 24 hours that contains a link to the pattern.

We are adding new patterns to download every week, so please check back often. We are currently working on: downloadable quilt patterns, downloadable crochet patterns, download knitting patterns, download cross stitch patterns and embroidery patterns download.

The downloadable patterns- can only be ordered from this page or the Allison Ray Designs page. We have to patterns priced for electronic delivery. When you order patterns from other pages on our site, they are calculated for a pattern to be printed and for postage to be charged. On this page- SHIPPING IS FREE! because the patterns are downloadable in PDF format.

How to download the pattern- As soon as you make the payment Pay Pal will open into a webpage that has a link for you to download the pattern. If you have any problems downloading the pattern, please email me allisonray@gmail.com so I can manually email it.

How to transfer traceable embroidery patterns from the paper to your fabric.

There are several options to transfer the embroidery design:

Light Box- Place the pattern facing up (or back side) depending on which direction you want your pattern facing. Then trace directly onto your fabric.

Iron on pencil or pen - trace the pattern and then iron on the motif. My favorite transfer pen is made by Sulky you trace the paper pattern with the pen and then just iron it onto the fabric. Very Quick and easy! Clover also makes a good transfer pen.

Embroidery Transfer Tip: make sure which ever you choose the words will be facing the correct direction when stitched.

Downloadable Vintage Embroidery Patterns

Each vintage embroidery pattern was carefully restored to preserve the charm of the past. Since most of these vintage patterns are 50+ years old, we were only able to restore the motifs-designs and do not have the original envelope with instructions. In some cases, we have spent years collecting the same pattern in order to have all the embroideries in that collection. If you would like reference for colors, you can print the color photos of the original patterns shown below. Whenever possible, we will include an image of the pattern cover, instructions, along with the restored traceable embroidery motifs with each PDF pattern order.
