"A Beginner's Guide To Quilting"
E-book review
by Allison Ray

This easy to follow ebook provides quilting tips and techniques for basic and advanced quilting.  Some of the time saving quilting methods that I thought were helpful were the strip cutting and chain stitching information.

The Beginners Guide to Quilting also covered information on how to:
* Chose fabric
*Sew perfect seams
*Attach borders to your quilt that actually line up
* Create quilt binding
*Design quilt blocks
*How to sew a quilt
*Information about the correct quilting tools and supplies to purchas
*How to assemble a quilt
*How to bind a quilt
*Machine quilting information

They also included information on rotary cutters and mats.  These make a huge difference in quilting.  The first quilt I tried to make I cut with scissors and all the squares were not so square...

I liked the free 9 patch quilt pattern.  Its a great quilt to start with.  You can really learn how to be creative with design and color with this easy pattern.  I have made several 9 patch quilts.
