| Hi Allison. I dug out my doll that my great-great aunt made for me that was made from the same pattern I bought from you (#7379). I thought you'd like to see a picture of it. It's a little worn and I had to wash it. My sister has the girl one. I found out from my dad the doll was made by my my great-great aunt. Her name was Lora Dowell and she was from Oakford, IL. I was so excited to see your patterns offered on line as I have always wondered about my "Beulah." Now I can date her and make more! I received Beulah as a baby gift. I friend of my mothers made her. I was born in 1950. I played with her quite a bit, but yet she sat on a shelf a lot and stayed in very nice condition. I don't know how she got her name. I wonder if my mom named her and I will ask her about that. I'm sure I didn't as I was just a baby and grew up knowing her as "Beulah. I’m sending you photos of her for your file and I will send you photos when I get more "Beulahs" and Beloved Belindys made. I make Raggedy Anns all the time and have often wished I had patterns for the piccannys. I Thanks so much for offering these patterns. Janet |
