the 1930's by Georgene Novelty Company. The beloved Belindy was a character in
Johnny Gruelles stories about Raggedy Ann and Andy. Belindy was Raggedy Ann and
Andy's mammy. Included are the complete instructions and patterns to make
Belindy and her Pantalets, Jacket, Skirt, Apron, and Head Scarf.

pattern will make two dolls boy and a girl approximately 18 - 19" tall and thier
clothing. She is wearing a blouse, skirt, apron and kerchief and he is wearing
overalls, shirt and bandana.
This couple has been known by names such as golliwg, golly, pickaninny or
picaninny would be a great addition to anyone who collects or is interested in
Black Americana history.
